Web design & development is the process of creating the visual layout, structure, and user experience (UX) of websites, blending aesthetics (colours, fonts, graphics) with functionality (usability, navigation, performance) to create engaging, accessible, and goal-oriented online presence for users across all devices.

It involves planning, conceptualising, and implementing a site's look and feel, focusing on both how it looks and how it works.

Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically via an image sensor or chemically using light-sensitive material like photographic film.

Derived from Greek terms meaning "drawing with light," it is used for documentation, storytelling, art, and communication. 

Sound design is the art and technical practice of creating, manipulating, and arranging audio elements to achieve a specific goal.

While it is most famous for its role in film and television, it is central to video games, theatre, music production, and even the "beeps" on your phone.

Sound design generally consists of five primary layers:

• Dialogue: Recording and cleaning spoken words to ensure they are clear and balanced.

• Foley: Recording everyday sounds (like footsteps or clothes rustling) in a studio to match on-screen action.

• Sound Effects (SFX): Created or recorded sounds for specific events, ranging from "hard" effects (door slams) to abstract ones (alien roars).

• Ambiance: Background "beds" of sound that establish a location, such as a city's hum or a forest's wind.

• Music: Collaborating with composers to integrate scores or licensed songs so they fit the emotional tone.

A classic industry adage is this. - "Audio is 50% of the film experience."

Videography is the process of capturing, editing, and producing moving images on electronic media (digital cameras, tapes, or streaming) to document events, tell stories, or create content.

Often operating as small teams or one-person crews, videographers focus on event coverage (weddings, corporate, lifestyle, culture) and documentary-style shooting, covering all stages from pre-production to post-production.
